This Privacy Policy describes how MEDIJSKA MREŽA DOO BEOGRAD - STARI GRAD (the Controller, Company or we) collects and processes the personal data of visitors to the website medijskamreza.rs (the Website).
We process personal data in accordance with the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection (Official Gazette of RS, No. 87/2018) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679).

2. What data we collect and for what purposes
The Website is informational in nature and does not require registration or the creation of a user account. We collect personal data only in the following situations:
2.1. Contact form data
When you send us a message through the contact form, we collect the data you enter yourself, which typically includes:
- your name (and surname, if provided);
- your e-mail address;
- the content of your message and any data you voluntarily include in it.
Purpose: receiving your inquiry, communicating with you, and responding to your question or request.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to a possible contractual relationship, and our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries addressed to the Company (Article 12(1)(6) of the Law and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Please do not submit special (sensitive) categories of personal data through the contact form.
2.2. Technical and server data
When you visit the Website, the server hosting the Website may automatically log certain technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type, date and time of access), to the extent necessary for the secure and proper functioning of the Website.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in ensuring the security, stability and correct operation of the Website (Article 12(1)(6) of the Law and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
2.3. Cookies

3. Legal bases for processing
We process personal data on one of the following legal bases:

- our legitimate interest – for responding to inquiries, Website security and basic analytics, provided that your rights and interests do not override that interest;

4. Data retention period
We retain data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law.
- Messages from the contact form and related communication are retained for the duration of the communication and a reasonable period thereafter (as a rule, up to 12 months), unless longer retention is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim or is required by law.
- Technical (server) data is retained for the short period required for security and diagnostics.
Upon expiry of the retention period, data is deleted or anonymized.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data or transfer it to third parties for marketing purposes. Data may only be accessible to:
- authorized employees and associates of the Company, to the extent necessary to perform their tasks;
- technical service providers (e.g. hosting, Website maintenance, e-mail) who process data on our behalf as processors, under a contract and exclusively on our instructions;
- competent state authorities, where we are required to do so by law.
6. International data transfers
If certain technical service providers are located outside the Republic of Serbia or outside the European Economic Area, we transfer data only with appropriate safeguards provided for by the Law and the GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses or transfer to a country recognized as providing an adequate level of protection).
7. Your rights
In accordance with the Law and the GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- right of access – to obtain confirmation of whether we process your data and to access it;
- right to rectification – to request correction of inaccurate or completion of incomplete data;
- right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) – to request deletion of data under the conditions set out by law;
- right to restriction of processing – to request restriction of processing in certain cases;
- right to data portability – to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format;
- right to object – to object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- right to withdraw consent – where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.

8. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe that the processing of your data violates applicable regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent authority: the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia, Bulevar kralja Aleksandra 15, 11000 Belgrade (www.poverenik.rs). If you are located in the EU, you may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of habitual residence.
9. Data security
We apply reasonable technical, organizational and personnel measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or misuse. Although we take appropriate measures, no method of data transmission over the internet can be entirely secure.
10. Minors
The Website is not intended for minors and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we determine that we have unintentionally collected such data, we will delete it without undue delay.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may amend this Policy from time to time to align with applicable regulations or changes in how the Website operates. The current version is always published on the Website, with the effective date indicated. We recommend that you review the content of this Policy periodically.
